Designed with TSC's hallmark durability, reliability, and innovation, the TDP-225 series of direct thermal printers in the 2-inch format boasts a compact design and powerful engine, making it ideal for various applications in healthcare, retail, and asset tagging. The TDP-225 operates at a speed of 6 inches per second and stands out as the first cost-effective, compact 2-inch desktop printer to offer an optional LCD display for easy monitoring of print job statuses. Notable features include an affordable internal Ethernet adapter for seamless network integration and an optional keyboard for label printing in stand-alone or downtime scenarios. Engineered without any loose parts, the compact TDP-225 series is perfect for tight spaces and supports a wide range of uses. It features a user-friendly clamshell design, allowing users to simply open the cover and drop labels into a spring-loaded 5-inch OD media bay. Standard top-of-form sensing by gap, black mark, or notch is included, with an adjustable black mark sensor that can move from side to side. Enhanced with advanced electronics, the TDP-225 series is equipped with a 200 MHz processor, 4 MB of Flash memory, 8 MB of SDRAM, and a microSD expansion slot that boosts Flash storage up to 4 GB. The printer supports standard industry emulations, including Eltron® and Zebra® languages. The TSC TDP-225 printer, with its small footprint, is ergonomically suitable for desktop use or wall mounting when desk space is limited. It features an LCD screen with buttons and offers connectivity options such as USB 2.0, Ethernet, and USB Host for use with a keyboard or scanner.
